In conjunction with the Schauer Center “Sip in Summer” fundraising event Fifteen-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Ricky Skaggs’ career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music, to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact. Ricky Skaggs is always forging ahead with cross-cultural, genre-bending musical ideas and inspirations. His performance here will be backed by his Kentucky Thunder band. Your performance ticket also gives you admission to the Sip in Summer fundraiser upstairs in Pikes Peak, 3:30 pm–7:00 pm. You can stop in ?Pikes Peak after the matinee show or before the evening show. There will be more entertainment by the Siegmann Family Band, free dance lessons, a silent auction, basket raffles, wine pull, and chances to win free Schauer tickets, drink tickets and other prizes. Each person who donates canned good items will be entered for a special raffle prize. Proceeds of the combined event benefit the Schauer Center. Your donation of canned goods benefits Geno’s Food Pantry in Watertown. Fundraiser runs 3:30– 7:00 pm Siegmann Family Band will perform from 3:30–7:00 pm with a break from 5:00–5:30 pm. Dance instruction will be provided at 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:00 pm.
